FORT ERIE, ONTARIO (WIVB)- Two fishermen are back on dry land after their boat overturned in the Niagara River. It happened near Bowen Road in Fort Erie, Ontario around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Witnesses say two men were in distress in the water. One was able to swim to shore, the other was pulled to safety by fellow fishermen Kevin and Rick Brochu.
The two men had hypothermia and taken to the hospital to be evaluated. They are both expected to make a full recovery.
